Skateboarding Tournament: Terms & Conditions
  • The Run Structure: Each competitor will be granted exactly two (2) timed runs.
  • Run Length: Each run will last [e.g., 45 or 60] seconds. The clock begins when the skater’s wheels touch the course or they perform their first trick.
  • Scoring: Only the highest-scoring single run will count toward the final ranking. The lower score is discarded.
  • No Finals: This is a "straight-to-final" format. There will be no secondary final round or "Top 8" cut; the final standings are determined immediately based on the best run from the two heats.
  • Tie-Breaking: In the event of a tie for a podium spot, the skater with the higher "discarded" second run will take the higher rank. If still tied, a "Best Trick" sudden-death round may be called at the judges' discretion.
Runs will be evaluated on a 0–10 scale based on the following:
  • Difficulty: Technicality of tricks performed.
  • Style & Execution: Cleanliness of landings and body control.
  • Variety: Use of different obstacles (rails, stairs, transitions).
  • Flow: Maintaining speed and consistency throughout the full run duration.

  • Helmets: Mandatory for all participants under the age of 18. Strongly recommended for all adults.
  • Equipment Check: Skateboards must be in safe working order. No motorized boards allowed.
  • Conduct: Unsportsmanlike conduct, including intentional interference with another skater or verbal abuse of judges, will result in immediate disqualification.
Notice: Skateboarding is an inherently dangerous activity. By entering this tournament, the participant (or their legal guardian) acknowledges and assumes all risks of serious injury or death.
  • Release of Liability: The participant hereby releases Skateboarding Tournament, its organizers, sponsors, and the venue owners from any and all claims for personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death.
  • Medical Treatment: In the event of an injury, the participant consents to emergency medical treatment provided by on-site staff or emergency responders.
  • By participating, the skater grants the organizers the right to use their name, image, and video footage for promotional purposes across social media and marketing materials without further compensation.
  • All entrants must check in at least [30 minutes] before their scheduled heat.
  • Entry fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
