MBJB Powers “JBFIT Extreme”: Promoting Active Lifestyles at TMIYC Skatepark

JOHOR BAHRU – The local community is kicking off 2026 with a boost of energy as the JBFIT Extreme Program takes center stage at the Skatepark TMIYC Johor Bahru. Powered by the Johor Bahru City Council (MBJB), the program is designed to encourage fitness and healthy living among residents of all ages.

Event Schedule & Logistics

The program is scheduled to run every Saturday throughout January (January 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31, 2026). Participants gather from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, making the most of the morning cool at the vibrant TMIYC Skatepark.

Expert GuidTo ensure participants receive the best training and safety oversight, the program features four dedicated instructors:

  • Mohd Jihan
  • Hamdan
  • Azman
  • Abd Aziz Hisham

These coaches lead various fitness routines tailored to the "Extreme" theme of the program, challenging the physical limits of the attendees in a fun and supportive environment.ance

Diverse Participation

The program has seen an enthusiastic turnout, reflecting a diverse demographic. Based on the registration records, participants range from young children as early as 4 years old, such as Adam Mikael bin Norman, to seasoned fitness enthusiasts like Faizal, aged 46.

Notable attendees include families and individuals such as Nyla, Eryn Adelia Loq, Sofia Hisham, and Muhammad Fariz Bin Mohd Farid, many of whom have shown consistent dedication by attending multiple sessions.
