Local Youth Shred it Up: Showroom Skate Clinic Sparks New Wave of Skaters in Johor

JOHOR BAHRU — Throughout May 2026, the local skateboarding scene witnessed a massive surge of youthful energy every Saturday afternoon. The Showroom Skate Clinic, held in an exciting collaboration with Kelab Skateboard Selatan, successfully wrapped up its month-long program aimed at nurturing the next generation of riders.

Every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the atmosphere was charged with excitement, the sound of rolling wheels, and the determination of young participants eager to learn.

Guided by the Pros

The clinic offered top-tier mentorship, bringing in seasoned local skaters to guide the participants. The coaching lineup featured:

From mastering basic balance and pushing to dropping into ramps and attempting their first ollies, the coaches ensured a safe, supportive, and highly motivating environment for everyone involved.
